I don't want to put words in carla's mouth, but I feel uncomfortable with two things: 1) adults holding G.T up in a way which justifies adults not taking action to combat the climate crisis because children and young people have 'got this' are going to 'fix things' for us, and 2) the hyper-individualism which accompanies a lot of the discussions about G.T and which serves to erase lots of the other young people who are working tirelessly in this field (which Greta herself has spoken out about) and which serves to narrow rather than widen conversations. Does that make sense? It's been a long day! xx
